Trial and error

Tired of falling for the same type? Tired of feeling like you’re wasting your time? Tired of meeting someone new, just to find out that y’all won’t work out no matter how hard you try? Tired of seeing everyone else in relationships and thinking…must be nice?

An annoying part of being single are those friends who are in relationships and they think the single life is poppin. Ummm, wrong. The single life is full of a bunch of people with trust issues, commitment issues, playas, etc etc. Then you got the whole trial and error thing which is just fu as hell. It makes you feel like you’re just wasting your time. But are you really? You get to experience WHAT YOU DON’T LIKE when it comes to a significant other. You learn to appreciate why things didn’t work out with the rest. You learn life lessons. You grow.

Whether you’re looking for your first love, or last first everything, STOP looking. Your time will come. Think about things in the light that God already has your life planned out, you won’t be single forever. So just handle your shit and the person will one day walk into your life when you least expect it. I’m a strong believer in “expect the unexpected”. I read that quote on a fortune cookie in the sixth grade…I’m 21 now and I still live by it! Why? Because you can’t go about life constantly expecting things. If it’s not something that you can get done on your own, then you will always set yourself up for disappointment.

Trial and error isn’t the end of the world. The more people you meet and don’t work out with are just helping you get closer to the one who is meant for you.
